We subscribe to the Creative Curriculum by Teaching Strategies
The AdventureLand Learning Center teachers and staff will utilize the Creative Curriculum as the basis for your child’s daily activities. The Creative Curriculum translates research and theory from the field of early childhood education into a practical, easy-to-understand approach to working with children and their families. It is a comprehensive curriculum with a clear organizational structure and a particular focus on routines and experiences. In addition, to support the Learning Center’s mission of providing holistic care and helping parents nurture their children to their fullest potential, daily activities will be supplemented with a Christian education curriculum that teaches family values, citizenship, character development, and loving relationships.

The Christian Education Curriculum that the Center will be using is “Growing in God’s Love” from Standard Publishing Children’s Bible Study Series and is available for review by contacting the Learning Center Administrator. While an aspect of the Creative Curriculum  addresses the benefits of working with families as partners in the care of their children, the AdventureLand Learning Center intentionally incorporates programming components that support and nurture relationships with parents and families.  Monthly Family Night activities provide opportunities for teachers, staff, administration, and families from Grace Community Church and the Learning Center to interact with each other in a fun, relaxed setting.
