AdventureLand Learning Center Hours of Operation and Procedures

Hours of Operation

The AdventureLand Learning Center operates between the hours of 7:30 am and 5:30 pm.

While the administration and staff of AdventureLand Learning Center understand that having quality daycare enables you to work and provide for your child and family, we believe that children need to have quality time with their parents, siblings and extended family every day. In order to help you fit family time into your schedule, children should not be left at the Center for more than nine (9) hours per day unless in extreme circumstances and only after consulting with the Center Administrator.

Consistency in Enrollment

The AdventureLand Learning Center is committed to offering families excellence in our full day programming. Our carefully planned activities and curriculum are designed to offer learning opportunities that will help your child develop physically, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and as appropriate, academically. When classroom schedules are consistent, learning objectives can be accomplished. Consistency also benefits children, teachers and staff by providing an environment that nurtures relationships and helps encourage teamwork and builds a sense of community and belonging. For these reasons, we ask parents to commit to maintaining a regular daycare/preschool schedule with your child.

* Notification of Schedule Change: Should you decide to withdraw your child from the AdventureLand Learning Center, a two-week notice is required. The regular weekly tuition will continue to be charged, and payment will be expected if adequate notice of intent to withdraw is not given to the Center Administrator.

Meals and Snacks: The staff and administration recognize that some children arriving at the Learning Center early in the morning will need to eat breakfast before their day begins. Parents can provide a packed breakfast or can contract for a nominal fee for the Center to provide breakfast for their child. Nutritionally balanced, healthy snacks will be provided each morning and afternoon for every child at the Learning Center. Lunch should be packed and brought in each day. A refrigerator and microwave are available for use during lunch time. In order for the teachers and staff to be aware of and sensitive to food allergies, parents need to ensure that information is updated on a regular basis. Additionally, while we welcome opportunities to celebrate birthdays and other special events, to ensure the health and well being of all the children, any special snacks brought for your child’s class must be approved in advance by the Learning Center Administrator.
