You don't blink with toddlers. They are walking, talking, and developing friendships with each other.
We have designed an active and safe enviroment for independent (and speedy) toddlers. At the AdventureLand Learnng Center, we understand the demanding needs of one and two year olds! Toddlers are struggling with self-awareness and striving for independence. The transition to the independent world of a three year old can be overwhelming at times; therefore, our Toddler staff is dedicated to gently guide them through the frustration and conflicts as they are often caught "in between".
We accept them for their inconsistent behavior, give them manageable challenges, and provide a relaxed environment to allow for their frequent changes in interest, moods, and capabilities. Toddlers will be introduced to simple learning centers such as Housekeeping/Dramatic Play, Sensory/Sand & Water, Manipulatives/Blocks & Building, Library, and Art. Your child will be offered a brief group circle time, participate in teacher-guided small group activities, and still have plenty of time for self-directed play. We will help them learn to feed, dress, and handle the toilet themselves, building their confidence and self-esteem. Since every child develops at their own pace, we'll work with them until they have confidently mastered the skills needed to move on to the preschool world.
