Children's Ministry
Having fun while we learn about Jesus!

Our heart’s desire is to make the hour that each child spends in AdventureLand the best of their week. The team of dedicated volunteers are passionate about teaching kids about the unconditional love that Jesus has for each of them.

We strive to have fun while they learn about Jesus as well as relate biblical truths to the world in which they live.We could have children memorize hundreds of bible verses, but unless they know how that relates to them, the knowledge stays in their heads . . . it never travels to their heart or into the world around them.

We accomplish that through age-appropriate teaching in a safe environment where kids can explore what it means to be a Christ-follower. For that reason, AdventureLand is divided into five groups: newborn through two years old; threeand-four-year- olds; kindergarten and first graders; second and third graders and four and fifth graders.

The various curriculum used is designed to engage the children at the various developmental levels into learning with all their senses. Music, drama, physical activities, art projects and crafts are all part of Sunday mornings.

AdventureLand runs concurrently with GCC services, at 9:30 and 11 a.m. A light snack and drink are provided as time permits. Casual play dress is preferred. Parents are welcome to accompany their child at any time.
