Benevolence
The Heart of God - The Hand of Man

Benevolence is just a fancy word for "servant."   It means to be kindhearted or giving. The purpose of the Benevolence Ministry at Grace Community Church is to serve individuals and families in times of crises. From coordinating meals for a family that is down with the flu to crises intervention, the benevolence team at Grace Community is ready to help others in need!

The benevolence team also leads several ongoing ministries that make a difference for the needy on weekly basis. Here are just a few...

Salvation Army Breakfast ministry
The benevolence team has created teams to serve meals at the Salvation Army shelter. If you'd like to help, contact Sully at sully@visuallink.com and you can support this ministry by dropping your check, cash or change in the red kettle by the front door. (Checks payable to GCC.)

CCap Food Collection
Benevolence has also been collecting canned goods for CCap, a local organization which provides food for the needy. This ministry helps ensure that the needy in the community receive food.
